I appreciate your patience and support over the past few weeks; I have certainly struggled . . . after missing the cut at this last tournament I left before sunrise Saturday morning and flew home for three days to spend time with my coach, John Godwin. I now feel fresh and ready to "get after it" again. My goal is to focus on fairways and greens and work four straight days!
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate two of my former University of Georgia golf team mates, Whitney Christie and Abbi Francis, on their very recent engagements. I wish you all the very best!!
I am very thankful to all my Maple Ridge Golf Club supporters and my Atlanta friends for coming out to watch me at the Chick-fil-A tournament again this year. I only wish it could have been longer! This tournament is a favorite for me.
The Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill Resort & Spa, was truly fabulous again this year. Bruce, Ann and Tori Cook were incredible hosts and I look forward to seeing them again next year.
Franklin American Mortgage Championship in Franklin , TN was my next tournament and I was lucky enough to play for the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with my pro-am partners Amy and Vince and Gill. We had a wonderful time.
The Sybase Classic at Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle , NY was next. This was my first visit to this venue as I was participating in my best friends wedding last year. I was hosted by Vincent and Marion and I just want to thank you both for being so "wonderful"! Thanks Thomas for the introduction. I also met the Kim's and I now have new Korean friends in New York . I have furnished a photo of my New York family. I would also like to send a special hello to Mrs. Reissman; sorry I missed seeing you but I had to fly home - I'll stop by next year!
I am getting ready to start the Corning Classic and will try to keep a little more current with my updates. Please know that your encouragement and support are truly appreciated. I wish the best to each and every one of you, Keep Smiling!! |
